PiPeLine Keighley (formerly PiPeLine Productions Academy for Sports, Keighley) boasts two large, excellent teaching and training rooms, a large well kitted out kitchen also used for teaching, and a good sized outdoor space as well as being within easy reach of other facilities that the provision accesses such as the nearby Sangat Community Centre sports hall, Marley Sports Centre, and a nearby Multi-Use Game Area on the site of the local Leisure Centre.
PiPeLine Keighley offers NCFE Technical Award Health & Fitness Levels 1 & 2 alongside NCFE Technical Award in Food and Cookery. And of course we provide ongoing daily support for Functional Skills Mathematics and English.
The provision opens to pupils at 10am for breakfast with lessons beginning at 10.30. The day ends at 2pm with the centre closing at 2.30pm. A free minibus service is provided that transports pupils from the centre of Bradford to this provision.
The Red Room
Featuring an 18 PC IT suite, three multimedia teaching screens, projection facilities set within a spacious, comfortable teaching space, the Red Room can comfortably host three or four groups totalling 30 people.
The Green Room
The Green Room is divided into two teaching spaces; the comfortable green corner area for classroom activities and the wood effect laminate area for low-level fitness activities such as body weight exercises. The room is used in a variety of ways by the team to create positive learning experiences.
The provision was formerly owned by PiPeLine Productions Academies LTD in Bradford however, in October 2023, it was splintered off into its own company and the two provisions became completely separate entities.
